Ultimate Frisbee

Terms 1 & 4

Ultimate Frisbee, is a non-contact team game played by players with a flying disc and is played as a Summer Sport in Terms 1 & 4.  Ultimate Frisbee was originally developed in 1968 by a group of students at a high school in the USA. Although ultimate resembles many traditional sports in its athletic requirements, it is unlike most sports due to its focus on self-officiating, even at the highest levels of competition.

Ultimate Frisbee has been a summer sport at FFC for a few years now and has proven a popular a sport that is "just for fun".  Players are a mix of experienced sports people from other codes and students who just want to take part.  All are welcome.

Ultimate Waikato host the competition at the Waikato University fields on Wednesday afternoons during terms 1 & 4.

Uniform & Equipment: Uniforms and Discs provided by the school.
