NZQA - Cookery Course

Kia ora everyone and Happy Matariki!

 

I’m just reaching out to you to wish you a wonderful Matariki and to see if you have any potential students that could be interested in our Cookery Level 4 programme starting on 14 July, 2025.

 

Currently we have plenty of space in our July class. This means it’s the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in sharpening their culinary skills and getting started in a cookery career!

 

If you have anyone that you think is ready and has NCEA Level 1, is 17 years old and above and is passionate about being creative with food, here are a few reasons why I think it’s such a great opportunity:

 

- Fees Free eligibility – If learners haven’t studied before and meet the criteria, they may be eligible to claim their Fees Free at the end of the programme. This course is valued at over $10,639 (one of our most expensive courses) which includes all ingredients, a full chef’s uniform, and a professional knife set. - It’s a hands-on, practical course that builds strong foundational skills and industry knowledge – perfect for those looking to work in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or hospitality. Great for people that want to travel, work on cruise ships, luxury yachts as well. Excellent life skills, time management skills are learned on this programme.

 

- Students will learn in a supportive environment with expert tutors and gain real-world kitchen experience.

 

- Students can also compete in culinary competitions, and host restaurant nights on campus

 

- Students also go into internship as part of the programme.
