JCEA

The JCEA was launched at Fairfield College in 2016 to support year 10 students develop the knowledge and skills that will enable them to more competently cope with the challenges of meeting NCEA requirements that formally commences in year 11. The JCEA purpose however expands beyond NCEA preparation and focuses on enabling the development of competencies that assist year 10 students to be positive contributing members of the communities that they are part of now and will be part of in the future. The JCEA provides a framework for year 10 students to activate the school’s core Three Be Values in to their lives.
